The difference between void, emptiness, and emptiness, vacuum & empty space
- Void is our understanding of an uncountable state. A state that cannot be perceived.
- Emptiness is an uncountable state in a specific place. The state can be perceived due to the difference between what can be perceived and what cannot be perceived.
- Emptiness is the possibility of a state that can occur, which characterizes the inability to perceive."
Emptiness & Void - Subjective-Objective
Emptiness is the void while the empty space is "the empty one" and voidness is the emptiness.
All, empty, the empty one, emptiness, void, empty space & voidness affirm the difference in the perspective (condition) of consciousness in perceiving distinctions.
From a daily perspective, voidness and emptiness have interchangeable contexts. Where voidness can lead to a state of silence (subjective) while emptiness leads to an objective state.
Although they can be interchangeable, they can be classified into two states of consciousness when contrasting the perceivable and the unperceivable.
Although affirming the unperceivability of something, it does not affirm its absolute non-existence, but rather affirms its absence in our perception, and does not affirm the absence of its absolute non-existence (not something).
EMPTY SET & EMPTINESS - A Mathematical and Physical Perspective
What is the similarity between its physics and mathematics perspective?
Emptiness Has a Place
The fact that the universe is expanding means it cannot expand into nothingness, implying that it expands in a certain place, indicating that emptiness has a place, namely the space for emptiness. So emptiness is located, which in mathematical terms is an empty set. So there is a set (place for) 'empty'.
- 👉 In reality, emptiness has a place. In mathematics, 'empty' is located in the set.
Emptiness Is Existence
An empty set can be involved in mathematical calculations, that is clear.
Now we move on to the next point. An empty set has no members { }. Similarly, emptiness also has no existence because it is empty like an empty set. However, emptiness can reveal something numerical (something that exists) known as 'quantum fluctuation.' What does that mean? What is empty turns out to have potential existence.
Similarly, an empty set indicates a set with no elements. The set itself can change from having no members (non-numerical) to having a set with members (numerical). The set exists, but there are no elements. Just like emptiness (assumed) to have no elements, yet emptiness is part of the set (the empty set).
If emptiness is not existence, then nothing can enter or leave from or to nonexistence.
Potential in Emptiness
An empty set has the 'potential' to reveal elements, as formally described as A ∪ ∅ = A.
Fundamentally, an empty set has the 'potential' to be able to reveal elements because these elements originate from us as human beings who can transform an empty set into a populated one.
