Misunderstanding of Newton’s First Law Discovered after Nearly 300 Years
Newton’s First Law: Inertia
🧩 An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion continues to move at a constant velocity in a straight line unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Initially, it was interpreted as follows...
...that if an object is not subjected to any force, then it will remain (at rest or move in a straight line).
This was criticized by "Hoek," who asserted anomalies, as there is no object unaffected by forces.
It seemed like Newton was providing unrealistic knowledge.
A simple example...
〰 "if a cat doesn't eat, it won't grow." In reality, there are no cats that don't eat.
Based on this anomaly, Newton's literature was reexamined to see if the first law of Newton's inertia was understood as such (which is anomalous) or if it was understood entirely differently (meaning it has been wrong all along) or if something was missing.
It turns out that after examining it linguistically, "force" should be interpreted as "condition."
This...
- 👉 "An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion continues to move at a constant velocity in a straight line unless acted upon by an unbalanced FORCE."
MUST BE CORRECTED, BECOMES LIKE THIS...
- 👉 "An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion continues to move at a constant velocity in a straight line unless there is an unbalanced CONDITION acting upon it.
⛳ It turns out that the difference between previously understood as "force", and corrected as "circumstance", has a widely significant impact
Misinterpretation of Newton’s Laws of Physics
For 300 years, it has been believed that Newton's first law of physics, the law of inertia, is often interpreted as an object will continue to move in a straight line or remain at rest unless acted upon by an external force. However, this interpretation does not consider that external forces always influence the object.
New research suggests that a more accurate interpretation is to understand "force" as "state,"
- 👉 ... so the scale of comparison between small objects and planets follows the same law, that they themselves have the potential to change momentum.
- 〰 This research has been published in the journal Philosophy of Science.
.☪ Quranic Confirmation ...
❇️ That nothing can exceed itself unless influenced (added) from outside itself.
- 👉 Simply put: a cup of tea cannot become a gallon of tea unless it receives an addition from outside itself.
- 〰 Simply put: something cannot exceed its existing capacity unless it receives an addition from outside.
This reaffirms the law of inertia as follows ...
Something inherently moving in a straight line will not change its direction unless it receives an external addition (influence).
Something with a specific inherent potential (straight-line inertia) will not be able to exceed its potential unless it receives an opportunity from outside to change.
Remarkably, the concept of inertia from the Quran emphasizes the "state" internal to itself that has the potential to change the inertia of that object
"Something cannot exceed its own limits ...", this means that within itself there is a "state" that cannot exceed what has been determined

ABOUT BOUNDARIES
The following reflects the absolute truth regarding boundaries.
This truth, though seemingly simple and already understood, may not have been realized before because it is so simple and so common, so its power to judge absolutely about the circumstances surrounding alleged truths is concealed.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:
"Have you not considered the water that you drink?"
(QS. Al-Waqi'ah 56: Ayat 68)"Are you the one who brought it down from the clouds, or are We the ones who brought it down?"
(QS. Al-Waqi'ah 56: Ayat 69)
📌 The pattern❓
... water comes from clouds ... and water from clouds is not salty
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:
"Indeed, We have created everything according to measurement."
(QS. Al-Qamar 54: Ayat 49)
📌 The logic❓Salty water tends to come from the sea, not from clouds. Cloud water is not salty. There is a boundary that cannot be crossed - measurement
If formulated ...
🧩 Something cannot exceed itself = cloud water cannot exceed its own (fresh) state
But Allah emphasizes that ...
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:
"If We willed, We could make it salty, so why are you not grateful?"
(QS. Al-Waqi'ah 56: Ayat 70)
📌 Meaning that .... the state of cloud water, which is fresh, can become salty if influenced by Allah
If formulated …
🧩 Something (cloud water) cannot exceed itself (remain fresh) unless it receives an addition (salty) from outside itself(cloud water) (God)
⛳ In everyday terms❓Something (a cup of tea) cannot (exceed) become a gallon of tea, unless it receives an addition from outside the cup (water supply to supplement its lack)
🎖3 🧩 Something cannot exceed itself unless there is an addition from another source
- This knowledge can be used to assess how far something violates boundaries or can be used to slice meaning into smaller modules to see how far their cause-and-effect relationships can be directed elsewhere (logically).
