What is the relevance between spiritualism in religion, philosophy, and exegesis?

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge should provide an understanding of ...

  • 1. ... knowing oneself,
  • 2. ... understanding circumstances, and
  • 3. ... realizing God.

Knowledge that does not provide these three aspects is not sufficient or complete knowledge.

PRACTICALLY

The three can be understood as "self-preparation" necessary before doing anything. Then, understanding the circumstances that will be faced, allowing one to achieve alertness in the process. Including understanding the process itself. Finally, the need for help when experiencing difficulties, which should be relied upon God.

In simple terms ... knowledge teaches 1. self-awareness & 3. about God, thus enabling one to 2. adapt horizontally & vertically.

METHODE

Methode ultimately should make us possess ...

  • 1. Faith

Without faith, we do not know the point of strength we can obtain.

  • 2. Surrender

Without surrender, we only rely on our weak selves.

  • 3. Sincerity

With sincerity, it is based on love and compassion, thus maintaining consistency and easing the struggle.

SYNERGY

How is the synergy between spiritualism in religion, exegesis, and philosophy?

Knowledge of mystics in religion revolves around the spiritual dimension, and the methode within it should make us spiritually recognize the best way for ourselves to comply.

Knowledge of exegesis includes the examples of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) through his hadiths. And the methode of exegesis makes us know the limits (NOT EXCEEDING LIMITS).

Philosophical knowledge includes subjective and objective arguments, which make us aware of balance. And the methode of philosophy should enable us to realize pragmatic and realistically idealism.

Dialectics?

🔰 Act according to your capacity (physically and spiritually), while remaining within the permissible limits (religion) objectively (thought and reflection).

The difference between mystics in religion and philosophy lies in the spiritual approach and the argumentative (detailed) approach in philosophy.

  • 👉 Although a philosopher might secretly use a spiritual approach to understand the matter, then express it argumentatively.
  • 👉 Conversely, someone might use philosophy to see the argumentative side (objectively - general benefit), then provide a spiritual approach from heart to heart - subjectively emphasizing personal applicability.

Meanwhile, knowledge in the realm of exegesis and its methode keeps the propriety.

🔰 The three form a balance in attitude.

SELF-MAINTENANCE - Not Separating

For those who make divisions in religion, such as mystics, exegesis, and philosophy, maintain yourself to not feel more comfortable with one that makes you unaware of the other sides of religion.

Except for those who see mystic and philosophy as parts of religion, the division will not trap them into an attitude that tends to indulge or be only philosophical or mystic, but the division is only to respond to others who take different approaches, so that from whichever direction we act, we will not ignore the other side of the broad religious treasury, including not ignoring to inspire it to others, thus creating optimal synergy.
