If love is felt without a sense of sacrifice through struggle, it is an intoxication resulting from an excessive passion, not love developed through a process.
Losing Oneself
Being intoxicated by love is a state of enjoying the feeling of love to the extent of forgetting oneself in the surrounding circumstances. This represents the ultimate state in the journey of love.
Historical Value
The initial state involves a willingly undertaken struggle, without which one cannot reach the state of growing closer to the beloved and becoming intoxicated in love.
Initially, the vibration of love occurs when we perceive a situation or recognize the superiority of something we do not possess. This awareness leads to a desire to possess or rely on the beloved to find comfort together.
The Wine of Love
NO MATTER HOW GREAT THE LOVE, IT STILL INVOLVES A SACRIFICE, UNLESS❓ If everyone experiencing love is approached by a vibration of love so powerful that it no longer urges them to get closer, but the vibration of love itself has enlarged without them attempting to get closer.
In analogy...
- 👉 Those not intoxicated by love, after realizing the pleasure of the wine of love, strive to preserve themselves so they can continue drinking until intoxicated.
- 👉 Whereas those intoxicated by love without feeling sacrifice are like taking a sip of wine but being deceived, becoming uncontrollably intoxicated.
Obstacles and Intoxication
There are two aspects to highlight here...
- 1⃣ Both may claim not to sacrifice for love if sacrifice is interpreted as a heavy burden in pursuing love, and they say, "I am not burdened."
- 2⃣ Both will acknowledge the existence of sacrifice when those not intoxicated by love and those intoxicated by love are obstructed from the beloved; then, both will realize the need for struggle.
❇️ SO, IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF NOT FEELING SACRIFICED YET NOT FEELING OBSTRUCTED. IF OBSTRUCTED AND STILL MOVING TOWARDS THE BELOVED OR DEFENDING THE BELOVED, IT MEANS ENGAGING IN A STRUGGLE FULL OF SACRIFICE.
Less Realistic
Flatly stating that "love requires no sacrifice" is a narrow perspective that may lead others learning about love to believe that love needs no sacrifice, and if sacrifice is needed, something is wrong❓❌ This guides towards a less realistic or narrow reality perspective.
